About us
About MAX-N
MAX-N acknowledges the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which it was formed and operates, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
MAX-N is a brother and sister led Australian activewear brand, founded on a shared passion for health, fitness and fashion. What began as an idea between siblings who love training, the outdoors and sustainability has grown into a boutique brand committed to creating performance clothing.
Founded in 2020, MAX-N produces a range of leggings, shorts, tanks and shirts that are ethically made using certified recycled yarn created from recycled plastic bottles.
By converting plastic bottles into fabric, this recycling and upcycling process helps reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste, conserves energy and minimises the need to extract and process new raw materials. It demonstrates how waste can be transformed into valuable resources contributing to a more sustainable and circular economy.
Certified recycled fabrics
We use certified recycled fabrics supplied by partners that adhere to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The GRS sets requirements and certification standards for recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. This ensures our garments are produced under ethical conditions using environmentally responsible processes.
Certified non-toxic dyes
Our clothing uses certified dyes that have a lower environmental impact and are eco-friendly due to their non-toxic composition.
Water usage
Water is a precious resource. We work with manufacturing partners who share our commitment to minimising water usage throughout the production process. Our goal is to continually review and improve our practices to ensure we are using sustainable fabrics and responsible production methods across our supply chain.
MAX-N Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
The fast-fashion cycle and limited recycling options make synthetic materials a major environmental pollutant. MAX-N proudly supports a reduce, reuse and recycle philosophy through our recycling initiative. Old or unwanted MAX-N garments can be returned to us, where they are mechanically shredded and the recycled fibres are spun into yarn to create new products, including clothing.
Biodegradable packaging
Our packaging is designed to reduce environmental impact. MAX-N uses biodegradable poly bags and postage bags made from corn starch. We continually review our packaging solutions to minimise waste across our supply chain.
Our logo
The MAX-N logo represents the wave lines of intersecting battle ropes forming the letter M. The ropes symbolise connection, flexibility and strength, values that sit at the core of our brand.
MAX-N is committed to sustainable fashion and continually developing clothing that is as eco-friendly as possible. We welcome feedback from our community as we continue improving our garments, processes and impact for the future.
